Education
Dr. Joel Epperson was born in California and grew up in Tampa, Florida. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi and his doctor of medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine.
Residency
Dr. Epperson served an internship and residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and an internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. In addition, he also served a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
